Advantages: more than what you can get in woolies stores Disadvantages: bad customer service, often later than expected delivery date
...a good 30+ items from woolworths.co.uk mostly CDS DVDS and games although there has been other products such as toys and homewares. they offer a good service where you can order an item (which gets charged to your card once dispatched) and have it delivered to home which is free for CDS, DVDS and games or £4.95 for other items of have them delivered to store to pick up for free. The site is easy to navigate with a helpfull search engine. I have found ... ...to queries. Of the 30+ items i would say 10 or so arrived late 1 never arrived and almost all CDS i ordered arrived sooner than expected. We have all been to the Woolworth Store on our High Street and we are familiar with the Dime Store layout: narrow aisles, crowded shelves, placards and low prices. It is much more comfortable to visit Woolworth online. The brash red website is instantly recognisable, and you might like to enter their competition before you browse.
If you go via Nectar online, you will pick up some Nectar points, thereby getting an even better deal. The site is easy ... ...of the thing you want to buy. You can pick up a catalogue at the store, but they had run out the last time I went to mine.
They are very good about making sure you get the best price on the day, so you can be sure that you do not need to go to the shop for that. You will need a Visa type credit or debit card or better and be prepared to pay the full amount in advance.

Don't buy anything electrical from Woolworths.
15 months ago bought the Disney Pixar TV/DVD Combi for my son's birthday.
About 10 months into warranty the DVD became intermittent in starting and stops part way through a film.
It has not been overly used, about an hour a day.
Due to holiday and Christmas did not get round to reporting it until over 12 months.
Contacted Woolworths and supplied reviews from Amazon and Buzzillion of similar problems and they will not exchange it.
I've got to pay for an examination of the problem and they will decide whether to pay for it or not.
The manufacturer is from the Far East and no UK Office so can not go to them. ...

What can I say about shopping with Woolworths online? Dire springs to mind! I was searching for (an admittedly fairly obscure) CD in all the usual places when I stumbled across the Woolworths online store. Sure enough, there it was, at a reasonable price. I Ordered the CD early August , accepting the 2-3 weeks likely delay. Nothing arrived until late November and then it was the wrong one. Wrong artist, wrong title, wrong everything. I could live ... ...CD but sadly this was not to be. I contacted them via "My Account" as they tell you to do - they supposedly respond within 24 hours! Several days later, nothing! On the plus side, it made my decision about seeking a replacement or getting a refund easier - no contest, give me the money. This was my first experience of shopping online with Woolworths and it will be my last. Amazon, Play, HMV etc all very reliable but sadly poor old Woolies have yet ...
