do not buy World Championship Poker 2 All In it got to many bugs

Advantages: none
Disadvantages: keeps crashing. sound is repetive, cant tell the diffrent from winning and losing hands

of the hands i should have won. when playing texas hold em i had a straight. and the other player had a pair. the other player won. which is not wright. this has happened a number of time that the game is given the pot to the wrong player with a lower hand then the true winner (is what the game is all about) this is a game for people who like to play poker and the other people you will be play agenst in the game are some of the top poker players in the world and there are 19 different games of poker that you will be playing in the game some of them are texas hold em, 7 card stud, 5 card draw, omaha and more the object is simple you start off with 2k in the bank and you have to enter competition by paying an entry fee and winning them to get every body money/ fees for that competition. the harder the competition the higher the fee. in winning ...

PDC World Championship Darts on PS2

Advantages: Licnenced Game of the PDC and can be 10 licenced darts players
Disadvantages: Poor Graphics , Repetitive Commentry , lack of Realism , lack of `customisation

PDC World Championship darts is a half reasonable attempt for a first shot at a licenced game on the PS2. However there are lots of things that put this game down that could well be improved. First off the carear mode it just lets you be one standard darts player. There is a vey limited customation for your player eg a few shirts and theme song you can choose from but nothing to get you excited. The graphic quality for the PS2 isnt up to scratch. The graphics resemble more the ps1 than anything else. The players movements are not smooth and fluent like they should be and they all have the same standard action. Commentry is very repetitive how many times sid says you couldnt swing a badger in here is unbelivable. The players themselves dont seem to show any emotion when throwing darts. If they hit a 180 they have the same emotions as ...

Review of PDC World Championship Darts (PS2)

World Series Poker 2008 , go all in on the DS

Advantages: Cannot lose real money, educational
Disadvantages: Slow to play some hands, scrolling screen, cannot save game in mid tournament

Golden Bracelet, the ultimate prize in the poker world. Gameplay is ok, the poker table pans across 2 of the lower screens which means that all players cannot be seen at the same time. This is a little offputting as you need to keep scrolling backwards and forwards to see who is still in the hand. The computer controlled players have a reasonable AI level, some players are ultra tight whilst others are very loose. As in real poker, you will need to work out these characteristics in order to be successful in the game. The difficulty level can be adjusted, making this an ideal game for someone who wishes to try poker but is too afraid to just an actual poker site, right up to the experienced player who just wants a bit of entertainment whilst sitting on the train for example. Play is controlled via the DS stylus, dragging over ...
