WiiSports Resort
One special day last year, I woke up unusually early - it was even still dark outside. I just couldn?t wait to get downstairs and go into the living room, but I couldn?t - not just yet anyway. It?s something we always do in my family, we must all go downstairs at the same time, together. Not every morning! Just on this particular special day, so I called my mum and dad - my two younger sisters were already up, practically buzzing with excitement at the top of the stairs - and together we all walked, or rather sprinted into the living room.
That special day of course, was Christmas day! Woohay!
So, you?re probably wondering I wanted to tell you about this, aren?t you? Well, keep reading and you?ll find out?
I love surprises, don?t you? Not knowing that something?s going to happen and then it does (as long ...

INTRODUCTION
Our Nintendo Wii has been hibernating under our TV, gathering dust since shortly after Christmas. The Wii party games made a brief appearance for the holidays and the shine of Wii Fit wore off after our New Year?s resolutions met with their usual success and longevity (i.e. none). It?s a fab console, but it?s very ease of ?pick up and play? makes it just as easy to ignore in favour of other pursuits. As such, I was delighted when I received it for my birthday last week, and It has played a part in our nightly entertainment since.
WHAT?S IN THE BOX
WSR comes packaged with the game (in its own DVD ...
Advantages: fun to play with family and friends, lots of game choices, some really fun games, multiplayer Disadvantages: very expensive, some potentially boring games, not as well designed as it could be.
WiiSports Resort was my youngest brothers birthday present but for the purpose of research I decided to try it out myself.
The game is for the Nintendo Wii and has a whopping recommended retail price of £49.99 although it is currently selling on Amazon for £39.99. This price includes the game and a ?Wii Motion Plus?.
The Wii MotionPlus
This is an accessory which attaches to your Wii Remote to enhance its motion sensing capabilities. It detects and reproduces your movements in the game, so whether you are playing basketball or doing some archery, every little movement you make is accurately portrayed in the game.
The Wii MotionPlus is essential for game which is why it is included but its inclusion automatically makes the game a pricey one which is a bit of a shame. Whilst you only need one Wii Motion Plus for single ...

Manufacturer's product description
World Championship Sports for Wii offers instant access to the most action-packed moments in sports. The result is a title with a singular focus on putting players in the most thrilling situations while competing in their favorite sports. Six sports are represented for a combined total of 22 events, each using instinctive controls that mimic real athletic movement with the Wii Remote. Each sport -- tennis, basketball, football, soccer, lacrosse and hockey -- has its own kind of "hit the shot at the buzzer" style of heart-pounding action, and this is exactly what Big League Sports captures.
