Everything they sell is TOP quality and, if needed, their after sales service is excellent. Originally their prices were higher than most high turnover/mail order suppliers but now are very competitive.
If you need excellent advice, top quality products and excellent after sales service at reasonable prices thay can't be beaten, especially if you are within easy driving distance and can go in and talk over your requirements.

I chose them because they offered a good package that I could tailor, and they were local so I felt confident that I could get any problems sorted out quickly. Plus the price was good too - not the cheapest, but not the most expensive either. Lastly, they had been in business for a long time, so I didn't feel I was taking a risk that they would disappear overnight.
I would happily buy from them again. The ... ...outside. I wasn't jumped on by pushy ill-informed salespeople as soon as I entered. On the contrary, the staff were polite and knowledgeable and helped me out to my car with all the boxes.
I asked for advice on how to copy things from the hard disk in an existing computer and the advice was straightforward and given happily and promptly (temporarily disconnect the CD drive in the new computer, and connect the old hard drive in its place).

I have used World of Computers in Kingston Street, Glasgow for about 3 or 4 years now and until recently was always happy with the goods and service i received. On 26/10/2007 I purchased an Asrock 4coredual-VSTA motherboard and later discovered it had a snapped pin, on returning it to the shop, I was told by the Manager (in no uncertain terms) that their 7 day back to store warranty would not be honoured as I had damaged it myself, despite the shop ...

With such large shops, one would expect a wide selection of products and PCWorld do not fail there. As well as computers, software, TVs, computer peripherals, components and networking, they also have a selection of Sat Nav, MP3 players, games consoles and accessories, mobile phones, peripherals, laptop and PC accessories as well as . They also advertise 3G contract deals to get free laptops and phones.

relatively competative within the "large" store computor suppliers, however compared to computor fairs and many smaller shops the prices can be quite astranomical, unfortunately alot of people who shop here are totally unaware that there are alternative places to shop.

The biggest things to watch out for when shopping at P C World are there ready built computors and their extended warrentees. If you want a ready built pc and know nothing much about computors then they offer a fairly competative range of pc's and many available in a variety of packages complete with printers,cameras and sometimes furnature.Now if you have a reasonable income and are quite happy to stay with pcworld for all your future computor needs then great,if not then steer well clear!!! I originally slated PCWorld in my first review of them, but following the need for a new laptop I decided to see what they had on offer.
Has Ayan lost his mind? Has all his technical savvy been abducted by aliens? Is he succumbing to the bright lights and glossy fascias of hghstreet stores?
Well the answer to all three of the above is a firm NO, but at the end of the day it came down to basic economics. What I use a latop for is mainly surfing the net while I'm out and about, checking e-mail and occasionally just breaking the boredom if travelling. In all reality it's an oversized and gorified filiofax. Having said that I also tend to use it for a bit of intensive stuff if I want to use my main PCs. This leaves me with 2 options:
