World of Peter Rabbit 23-copy Box (Peter Rabbit Centenary) - Beatrix Potter

I had the collection as I child. I passed it down to my cousin and now I have bought the books for my daughter. The best way to describe this collection is as an absolute classic that every child should at least read, if not own. And no, watching the film is not enough!!

Other memorable characters include Squirrel Nutkin, Mrs Tiggywinkle and Mr. Jeremy Fisher. All tales are illustrated by Beatrix Potter which adds such a personal feel to the collection.

At the cost of the books I have used them to teach my daughter about respecting her things. She understands that these are special, they always go away after we have finished them and she is not allowed them out on her own. Boring this may sound but I want her to be able to enjoy these for many years and I can't afford to replace them each time.
Everybody has a favourite, I love them all because of their honesty and purity, beautiful drawings and they never go out of fashion. Beatrix Potter has been a credit to English writing for over half a century now.
