Advantages: Tonnes of new features, new continent, level cap raised Disadvantages: Requires WoW to play, more expense on top of monthly fee
Before this expansion was released, World Of Warcraft was already a hugely engrossing game. It's charming cartooney graphics may appear dated now when compared to some of the more recent releases such as Lord Of The Rings Online: Shadow Of Angmar, but nevertheless it still retains the most important aspect of any video game in existence: it's damn good fun. With so much to see and do it's almost impossible to get bored with the game, and now with ... ...exactly what I think of World Of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade...
... and it's good. Very good. The expansion manages to build upon everything in the original game and extend it's lifespan almost infinitely. The new continent and instanced dungeons will take time to fully master, especially some of the higher levelled dungeons such as Karazhan and The Black Temple, with even more content being packed into the game with semi-regular patches and updates. ...

Advantages: Extended gameplay, new items, races and areas. Disadvantages: Requires you to purchase the original WoW, graphics not updated, addictive.
...(massively multiplayer online role-playing game), World of Warcraft.
Pro's and Con's...
My first thoughts when creating one of the new characters were that the quest storylines would not be as well thought out or designed as previously, in an attempt to produce the expansion pack quickly enough to cope with demand - I am impressed to say that the new content and quests, and all new areas are incredibly well designed and rich.
Another good feature ... ...things to do within the world - instead of simply completing the quests which can bring some variety.
For existing players...
The expansion pack opens up new areas, races (Blood Elf, for the Horde and Dranei, for the Alliance), quests and items - meaning that all those players who currently have the old version of WoW can have their interest in the game rekindled. Not only this, but the Burning Crusade expansion pack allows players to increase ...

Advantages: Many more quests, enemies and items. Long-term PvPing now has an incentive. Disadvantages: Lifespan of the expansion is only long for 'hardcore' gamers, poor itemization.
...multiplayer role-playing game that is, World of Warcraft. Let's look at the major features that the expansion adds to the original game.
- Players can now achieve level 70 from the previous capped level of 60. - Two new playable races to choose from, the Blood Elves and the Draenei - New battle arenas with a PvP ladder system.
- New battleground map, 'Eye of the Storm.'
- New major cities, which include: the Exodar, Shattrath and Silvermoon
- ... ...long break from the original World of Warcraft, it was very refreshing to begin playing again with all of the new content available to me. I enjoyed the starting area of the Hellfire Peninsula where thousands of players from both factions tended to mind their own business and level up besides one another in order to advance further into the expansion. One of the major differences I noticed between the expansion and the original game was the fact ...

...been an avid player of World of Warcraft (WoW for short) for nearly 2yrs now. As you can imagine for a player playing this long, things started to get a little boring. This was until The Burning Crusade expansion (TBC for short) came out - needless to say the plethora of new content was more than enough to get me totally hooked again, and enjoying the game fully once more. The Burning Crusade was easy to install and set up, and once I had finished ... ...use my current World of Warcraft account and simply enter the key provided with my copy of TBC. Then I was up and running and ready to head off into the completely new realm with my friends and guild-mates. I proceeded to give in to my guild and make the commitment to level a new character, a Blood Elf Paladin (a new race, and a character class previously unavailable to the faction I play - Horde) to the maximum level of 70. The graphic detail, richness ...
