Worms Forts (PC)

Advantages: Same great gameplay; lots of new play modes; new single-player missions; addition of multiplayer missions
Disadvantages: No new weapons; essentially Worms Armageddon Deluxe

With their retro-cartooney graphics and hilarious combat system, these goofy games are maniacally addictive, and a huge hit around the PC Gamer office. Worms World Party gives us our fourth trip to the Worms universe, and it’s truly good to be back. Basic gameplay’s the same as series fans remember: controlling a team of worms, you square off against opposing worm team(s) — either AI or human-controlled — in a kill-them-before-they-kill-you struggle over the destructible terrain. Worms-1994 Worms reinforcements- 1995 Worms & Reinforcements United 1996 Worms 2- 1997( the beginning of the new look worms) Worms Armageddon -1999 Worms World Party -2000 Worms Blast -2002( a spin off) Worms 3d( the first of the 3d series)-2003 Worms Forts - 2004( a spin off) Worms 4 Mayhem- 2005 Each new game added new weapons, sometimes a completely new look, but most kept the core interface and easy to learn gameplay. Untill we hit 2003 and the first 3d worms game, something creators Team 17 swore they would never do. Worms 3d was a poor effort at best. wkwared camera angles and misjudged weapons caused the game to be labelled a mar on the flawless name of Worms and show once more as we saw with other... ...with the cool music. Once you have done all the missions, dont think its over, no you can design your own maps and custom guns and moves, to play with friends or against the computer. In games dont forget you can do weird things like slowly making the sea rise or every worm goes to 1 health.So looking for a fun, not to expensive Pc game to buy make this your pick and let the war begin....
