    Advantages Advantages Light, durable, doesnt need to be tuned. Great for kids and is cheap. :)

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Doesnt really incorporate what a real guitar plays like.

    I recently bought one of these for my little brother for Christmas. He had one of the ac/dc version that comes in a box with a handle and a strap, also with a built in speaker. It had three karaoke songs in which you can strum the guitar and it would automatically play the correct note for it. There was also a rhythm mode and a free style mode. This is where i was the most disappointed in. It could not play individual strings and the sound doesn't change when you slide you finger up and down the frets.
