...I thought straight away, well WOW i want one of them. But then i noticed the little (star) * next to the price, and i thought i should better ask what that little star was for. I ask her, and she mentioned it is free processing but only 6x4 and it will take about 2-3 days to process. But she also mentioned that if you are willing to pay extra you could have the next size 7x5 and you could have them done within the hour. And you could also pay extra ... ...expires.
***Purchasing***
so with all the information i wanted i purchased one. It was only £5.99, so with that in mind i purchased 2, only because it only had 24 expires on it. And me, being me take aload of photos.
***Using the camera***

***Using the camera***
To set up the camera is quite easy. all you have to do it take it out the packaging, and wind the cog, this is to wind the film on. On the front of the camera, there is a little button/ flap. and you push the button, or lift the flap and that is the flash. On the top of the camera, there is a light and when it isnt flashing it is not ready to use. When it flashes, get ready to take the picture. On the back of the cameraIt tells you, quie simply to
Wind Falsh Point Shoot.
So following them intructions, you the point and push the button, situated at the top of the camera. After you have done that, you wind the cog again, and when the light flashes, it's ready to take another picture.
Also on the top of the camera there is a little dial, with the words next to it 'pictures to go', and it tells you how many ppictures you have left.
***Taking the camera into the shop***
After i have taken all my pictures, and you will know when you can take anymore, as the cog will keep turning. I took the camera back in to Max Spielmann and ask them to process the camera. They asked the usual questions:
What size?
Any extra copies?
do I want them doing, within the hour?
But buying this camera for £5.99 and free processing, i replied with no! So i didnt have to pay anything more to the camera. When having them processed you can either:
Take ONLY to your local Max Spielmann or Klick Photoprint shops.
48hour shop Service.
Discuss other sizes or Express options in store.
OR*Freepost (Mail order- use plastice packaging as envelope, include a cheque for £1 postage and packaging, payable to P.S.N.W Ltd)
*Enclose name, address, post code. Reverse insert card for mailing address.
***The final result***
When going back into the shop, on the day my photos will be ready, i hand over my slip, they gave me. And i simply look at them, to make sure they are my photos, and they put them in to a bag, and i walk out the shop. But i prefer to take them into either of the shops, and wait for a few days.
As soon as i walk out the shop, i open the bag and look at my photos, and they are brilliant. When i first bought one of these, i thought they would be of poot quality, but they are not, they look like, if you have paid loads of money for the to be processed, to the highest quality,
***Extra information***
On the bottom of the camera, there is a WARNING- high voltage, do not remove cardboard sleeve or open camera body.
Keep away from direct heat, sunlight and moisture.
Advantages: Good value for money at £5.99 including processing Disadvantages: if camera gets lost you have already paid for developing
I first became aware of wow cameras when i was given one as a christmas present a couple of years ago (when the camera first came out i think, as I had never heard of them before). For a disposable camera, it dosent look cheap as some do, as the cardboard encaseing of the camer is a mettalic grey colour.
The camera is extremly easy to use but you do have to remebr to put the flash on if required as it will not come on automaticly.
When you want ... ...but prefer to take my wow camera out with me as it is a lot lighter, the picture qualtiy is still reallly good and it saves worrying about loosing your expensive camera.
A tip is to write your name or inital on the camera as if taking group photos and someone else has the same camera it is then easy to distinguish between whos camera is whos as they will look identical.
So i would definatly reccomed this camera to anyone as even though i do own ...

Advantages: Free processing, no major worry if it gets lost Disadvantages: Pictures aren't always very clear
I first purchased a WOW camera quite a while ago, and have had quite a few since.
I'm forever worrying about losing cameras and film and developing doesn't come cheap, so a WOW camera seemed like the perfect solution. I first used a WOW camera on a trip to Paris, and although most of the pictures came out as well as could be expected for a disposable camera, night time shots were terrible and nothing could be made out on them at all.
Recently, ... ...for it to rip.
I would recommend them as good value for money for holiday snaps etc. but it would be best spending the extra money on a conventional camera and film for more important photos.
WOW cameras can be bought from Klick and Max Spielman for £5.99. ...

Bought a wow camera(£6.99).cardboard outer wrapping got wet and came off.so dumped the soggy wrapper.went back for the 'free' developing, only to be told..'that could be any disposable camera, without the wrapping, you will have to pay £3.99 more to get it developed'.
Fair enough i guess..my own clumsy fault. That means £11 in total.
But wot i discovered is...
The camera under the wrapper is the same as any that u buy from say...morrisons for £2...or u can get in pound shops for..yep ONE POUND!!
So..
with developing(at anywhere u like)being £3.99....well...you do the maths.
MAX SP...wow cameras...a big con!!

Advantages: clear photos, value for money Disadvantages: only 24 exposures, free processing only covers 6x4 size prints
I first bought a wow camera from max speilmans a few years ago before my holidays and at only £5.99 i thought it must be worth a try. And sure enough when i returned home and had it processed the pictures were very clear and of high quality. The camera has a flash, which not all disposable ones have and included processing in the price. The free processing is only for the 6x4 size prints though, and it costs extra to have them larger. They are excellent ...
