I first became aware of wow cameras when i was given one as a christmas present a couple of years ago (when the camera first came out i think, as I had never heard of them before).
For a disposable camera, it dosent look cheap as some do, as the cardboard encaseing of the camer is a mettalic grey colour.
The camera is extremly easy to use but you do have to remebr to put the flash on if required as it will not come on automaticly.
When you want to take a photo you just need to switch on the flash if required (the mecanism changes for the flash but currently all you need to do is to push the button up on the front of the camera to on) and at the top of the camers a light comes on when the flash is ready (can take about 30 secs), then wind on the film (NOTE DONT WIND ON FILM UNTIL READY TO TAKE NEXT PHOTO AS THE BUTTON THE TOP OF THE CAMERA WILL EASILY PRESS DOWN ESPECAILLY IF CAMERA IS IN A BAG), aim through the view finder and press the button on the top of the camera.
You will get 24 photos from the camera with free 6*4photos, but if you wish to have 7*5 photos you can pay an extra £1. The photos take a couple of days to be processed witht he option of extra prints and putting the photos onot CD for an extra charge. However I have opted for 1 hour processing for an extra £1 which is worth the money if you are too impatenient to wait for the photos.
To get the photos processed you take them to Klick photopoint and max spielmann, or send them off at an extra £1 for p+p.
The photo quality os brillant for a single use camera, and even when getting the photos enlarger the quality is still very good.
This camera is brillant for nights out as if you loose the camera you have only lost 24 pictures max rather than your photos and expensive camera.
I do actually own a digital camera, but prefer to take my wow camera out with me as it is a lot lighter, the picture qualtiy is still reallly good and it saves worrying about loosing your expensive camera.
A tip is to write your name or inital on the camera as if taking group photos and someone else has the same camera it is then easy to distinguish between whos camera is whos as they will look identical.
So i would definatly reccomed this camera to anyone as even though i do own a digital camera the photos on the wow camera is really good and the camera is excellant to take around with you . So even if you do own a digital camera consider buying this for only $5.99, for when you are out at nite because i still do as it is excellant value for money!!
