When browsing the beauty products in the supermarket; my husband came across ‘Wrights Coal Tar soap’ … he then came over all nostalgic remembering that this was the soap his grandfather used. There are phases that people go through, where they change the products that they use to go along with trends. I have been as guilty of this as most people, although there are classics that stand out in your mind. If you close your eyes and think of different products, then there is always one make that stands out as being memorable or special, and for me, on the subject of soaps, Wrights Coal Tar is one of them. This is one of many soaps that now is currently in my bathroom and this once is the only one that my husband will use. Now I have spent over two hours yesterday and today trying to find out a nice little story to tell you about this family soap but infact about 30 minutes ago I managed to find out who now actually makes and owns the brand. This product is dream! I've tried well over £80 worth of lotions and creams form private stores and the likes of Clinique but they didn't work anywhere near as well as this soap at about £2 for a couple. I used to have very bad combination skin - spotty with large pores and dry areas. It was nightmare doing make up. Now though since using Wrights soap the spots have nearly all gone and more pores have definately got smaller, my skin isn't even dry and flaky. It's a really pure antiseptic and antifungacide. this soap is wonderful , i suffer from psoriassis sometimes my hands would be full of weeping sores which was so painful until i used wrights coal tar soap my hands are now back to normal i recommend this soap to all ! my hands were so bad that i couldn't even peel veg etc , i had to wear special gloves for food preparation and all the time i was suffering badly , i was almost driven to distraction as the whole situation was so depressing, i could hardly even apply make up to my face as my hands were smarting like mad ! even nthe ointment i was prescribed for my psoriassis stated on the ... more
