My ultimate favourite chewing gum has to be Spearmint Orbit Complete. Orbit Complete is made by Wrigleys, who as I am sure you will all know, have been make chewing gum for years, and in my opinion they are getting better at it all the time! Orbit Complete is available in 5 flavours Spearmint, Peppermint, Strong Mint, Strawberry and Lemon and Lime. I personally do not like the fruit flavours, they just don’t seem to leave your mouth feeling as fresh as the mint flavours, but then that’s just my personal opinion. The gum comes in a handy envelope shaped box and contains 14 little rectangular shaped tabs each of which are individually and daintily wrapped. The box is easy to open by means of a little flap, which is then slotted into a little slit to close, all very prim and proper. I love this box, it’s handy and fits nicely into my handbag, perhaps not too popular with males though as it is a little big for a jeans pocket!
Orbit Complete contains Xylitol, which I have recently found out can be really quite a healthy little additive! Originally from Finland Xylitol is a sugar alcohol, which can be found in fruit, vegetables, berries, corn, oats and mushrooms. Xylitol has approximately two thirds of the calories that normal sugar has and unlike some sweeteners leaves no aftertaste in your mouth. Xylitol can be used safely for diabetics as blood sugar levels are not as affected by this as when eating sugars. It has been proven to reduce plaque build up on your teeth and amazingly it has been proven to help reduce a deterioration in bone density, although I don’t really think that chewing a few pieces of gum a day would necessarily help someone with osteoporosis, but then who knows what the future holds? Chewing gum and the constant swallowing reflex also helps break up and reduce a build up of earwax in the middle ear and that amazing Xylitol again helps to prevent a build up of bacteria within the array of tubes connecting the ear, nose and throat.
The gum itself is really tasty and I find that 1 tab is certainly enough for me at one time, all too often 2 pieces of gum are required as they are either too small or the flavour does not last very long. Orbit Complete, however, has a flavour that seems to last for ages. I often find that one piece will last me for up to an hour before I get that awful feeling that I’m chewing a tasteless lump of rubber. The spearmint flavour is really pleasant, with a nice sweetness to it and a mintiness that isn’t too sharp and unpleasant. I love the feeling in my mouth after chewing my gum, my teeth feel smooth and clean and my mouth feels fresh. Another added benefit of keeping my Orbit Complete in my handbag is the fact that my bag always smells lovely and fresh too!
Orbit Complete is suitable for vegetarians and is recognised by the World Dental Federation. It does contain a source of Phenylalanine, which if consumed in excess can have a laxative effect.
One packet of this gum costs between 45p and 56p depending on the flavour and where you buy it and it is also available in a multipack of 3 boxes, which costs between £1.05 and £1.45 again depending on flavour and where you buy it. I personally prefer to buy the multipack as it is cheaper in the long run and the 3 packets last me a week so it also saves me having to run back and forward to the shops!
I would definitely recommend keeping a packet of this gum handy as it tastes really good, the flavour last for a long time, it leaves your mouth feeling clean and tasting fresh and it also keeps your handbag smelling fresh too!

Wrigley's new addition to their chewing gum range is their new Orbit Complete which they boast contains Xylitol. Xylitol works in a similar way to mouthwash helping fight plague and aid in maintaining healthy teeth and gums.
I must admit that it wasn't until my dentist recommended it to me and I had given it a go that I realised just what a handy product it is to have and carry on you. When eaten after meals or snacks your teeth definitely feel ... ...pleasant taste not too strong like some other competitors on the market…it's instantly refreshing.
The chewing gum comes in the two standard colours blue for peppermint and green for spearmint. ...has been my crutch. Wrigley's Orbit Spearmint Sugarfree Gum has a lovely spearmint flavour that lasts for ages and doesn't go sour after chewing it for a few minutes. Because of the tasty spearmint flavour it also keeps the hunger pangs at bay. It comes in a lovely envelope packet and you get pellets or tabs. I always have the spearmint tabs, they are all neatly packaged in orbit paper and there are 14 in each pack (mega pack). On the packaging thy ... ...which on excessive consumption can cause a laxative effect (so don't have too many!)
In summary I love Wrigley's Orbit Complete Spearmint Sugarfree Gum, it is a refreshing gum with that gorgeous spearment flavour and I also feel like I am contributing to healthy oral care for my teeth. ...

Orbit Complete sugar free gum.
i have been using gum for years i use it not for taste but for a second way of cleaning my theeth , as when im at work etc.. i can not take my toothbrush, so i use gum.
also i am insulin dep. diabetic and i get dry mouth due to my blood suger either going up or down and the gum is a great way to help stopping a dry mouth, when im out and about also the suger free helps as im not supposed to eat any suger at all.
... ...and gums, its like brushing and fights bacteria and is a great addition to brushing, flossing etc...
This gum comes in a cardboard pack and each piece of gum is wraped in like a greese proof paper. to keep it from sticking togeather and to keep it freash.
This chewing gum comes in all the mint flavours and comes in a rectangle shape and is a really nice texture and seems to bring my mouth back to life, even after coffee.

Wrigleys orbit complete Spearmint sugar free gum comes in a bright green carboard box with 14 pieces of gum. The front of the package has a number of titles on it;
"Healthy clean and fresh","New 14 tabs","Spearmint sugar free gum","With xylitol","Sugar free","Sweetners and mint flavours".
On the back the Ingredients section notes-excessive consumption can produce laxative effects;Nutrition-energy/640kjl(carbohydrate 60g) suitable for vegetarians.
... ...a good idea to read the package of anything before you use it (especially the bit about laxative effects).
I am not a big fan of chewing gum, there are only 1 or 2 brands I would ever use, but Wrigleys has a good reputation and their flavours are usually fresh. I picked this one up in Tesco when I had a voucher to use up at the checkout. I do not know how much it cost.
