The user friendly version of Macbeth. If you know Macbeth you will recognise the story which opens with the witches around the cauldren.Wyrd Sisters is the first of the witch books in the Discworld series. Granny Weatherwax, Nanny Ogg have to take action because the land does not like the new king. How they go about this is full of laughs and a comedy of errors. The withches appear in a number of the Pratchet books and are very well crafted characters.As with all Pratchet books its very addictive and difficult to put down.
