...This little notebook is an absolute gem for people on the go. It is small, lightweight and its simple design makes it one of the more attractive notebooks out there! It's great for working on microsoft word, excel etc but it may not compare to the performance of some of the more modern notebooks that technology has to offer. If your after something for work and only work or watching dvds on the train or airplane, get it. This notebook has 20GB of hard drive storage which is plenty to keep all your work, doccuments etc on (I am yet to have it crash!) If you want to do some occasional gaming it has to be a no. It lacks the processor of graphics card to play games.
The ultra thin 14.1 inch TFT will make anything you do look spectacular
The procesor is a mere AMD Athlon XP running at a maximum of 1.2GHz
The 20gb hard drive is relatively...

Advantages: Thin and light notebook, powerfull enough to do some processing Disadvantages: Some areas of the touch screen might not be accessible at a certain time
...I know that some people need a little convincing with something as radical as the concept of tablet computing. But for me, Portege 3500 is fast enough to do some processing without hassles.
Thin-and-light notebook is a dream machine that capable stylus processing that quite neat. It has a decent processor-a 1.33-GHz PIII-M-and a 12.1-inch screen. There's a great keyboard, a capacious 40GBhard drive, and 1,024MB of RAM. It comes with an external CDROM drive, but you can order with DVDROM external as well.
With batterypack that ready to supporting 2:40 hours, connecting internet in local hotspot still quite nice.
Only I have experience problem with the stylus, I lose it someday and need to buy the replacement, but the price is still comfortable. If you are using this stylus more frequently you will face that some areas in the screen...

...I have used this laptop now for quite some time and have come over hardly any difficulties with it! For its size its a very good and fast little tablet! With its own sensitive screen you can use the tablet pen to be your mouse and turn it into 'tablet mode'. The screen is very sensitive and the pixels very easily get damaged. Their is no cd/dvd at all supplied with it but then again, its got so much to offer!
Here are its specifications ....

This really is what it says it is - Toshiba, the mark of quality and reliability, and Portege, meaning it is portable. The Toshiba Portege is an excellent laptop.

I for one, absolutely love the look of this acer. The bottom of the laptop just looks really cool, and the top looks ok too. One only criticism on the look, would be that the plastic at the tip of the screen is a little thick, but then again it does have more
The Dell D series of laptops came out in 2003 to replace the C series laptops (how did they come up with such a catchy name?). The main ranges are the D400, D600 and D800 spot the pattern yet. The D600 is the middle of the range in terms of size, weight more
