...Bought this board to replace the Asus P5N32-e SLI Plus board that wldnt overclock my processor at all.
Really impressed so far as the board has lived up to all the hype that surrounds it on the internet.
Packaging:
This board was packed a liuttle differently to any motherboard that i have bought in the past. Instead of an anti-static bag it came in plastic mould that seated the board very well and prevented any damage occuring during transit. The board also had a multitude of accesories with it. This included the manual, quick start guide, sli bridge connector, driveers disk, sata floppy disk, black sata cables and black ide cables.
Specs:Performance
Based on NVIDIA nForce680iSLI Chipset chipset
Supports Intel Core 2 Extreme, Intel Core 2 Quad, Intel Core 2 Duo, Pentium EE, and Pentium processors

Advantages: Supposed to be the bees knees Disadvantages: more like a knacked nag - only fit for the glue factory
...I own one of these and THEY ARE NOT WORTH THE MONEY.
It is slow to start up
It is finnicky
It is, like all motherboards, poorly designed so that you can\'t get the full use out of the expansion slots.
It does odd things - sometimes the fans don\'t run at full speed, sometimes the LED post at the back flashes when the PC is off - sometimes it freezes for no reason.
It hates CPU\'s, RAM, GPU\'s and anything else you put on it.
I had to clear the CMOS just to get it to accept my Core 2 Duo E6600 chip. It hates having more than 2Gb of RAM in it, so I was forced to RMA my other 2 Gb of Crucial Ballistix RAM. It hates my Graphics Cards - 2 Sparkle Calibre 7950GT cards. It takes quite a while to \"check\" the CPU, RAM, GPU/s etc.
This is one very poor board. It isn\'t just Asus\'s fault - even though they have been slow...

Advantages: reasonable price, for quick and easy overclocking, and great performance Disadvantages: it has a SODIMM switch, which perhaps isn't welcomed by everyone as its an old feature.
...The Abit Fatal1ty FP-IN9 SLI mother board is great start for anyone who wishes to puchurse a new motherboard, or perhaps start to build there own computer and just aren't quite sure what mother board to go for. Well i strongly recomend this product, its priced keenly and is focused almost exculsivly on forming the basis of a decent gaming rig.
The reason that the board is so much cheaper than other LGA775 boards is that it uses the nForce 650iSLI chipset, rather than the top of the range 680iSLi thats seen on more expensive motherboards, but i wouldnt worry its still a great board to go with.
Even though the board is brand new, theres a SODIMM switch between the two 8x PCI-E slots. This is used to manually set the board to single or dual graphics card mode, which is a fairly old idea, that perhaps more experienced gamers aren...

Hi, The model here, the ASUS M2N-E has proved itself over the last year. I built several systems using this motherboard and so far it has been well up to ASUS' usual standard and for me it is the natural successor to my previous one (A8N-E). My comments more
