Overall the Sixaxis controller has a very sturdy build quility a very comfortable design, which hasn't changed since the PS1 whcih i think is great because it was perfect and there is no need to change something that ain't broke and is loved by many.

Advantages: Six-axis, light, wireless Disadvantages: no rumble pack
When you think of a games console you think heavy, uncomfortable and always getting tangled in wires. Well not the PS3 sixaxis controller.
The first point of interest is the wireless cabability of the controller. The controller uses bluetooth which allows a constant stream of information from the controller to the PS3 with no lag time. The last thing I would like to mention is that if you're holding the analogue stick in one direction your finger may slip off, a small dent like the Xbox contrllers have may be useful. Analogue covers with both dents and small grips can be bought if you find this too much of a nuisance. Also, I've heard people saying their fingers slip off the R2/L2 buttons, but for me this hasn't been the case.
All in all a good controller which has served me well, considering the amount of use I have had out of it. I still use the Sixaxis if I'm playing during the day, but I have to use the Dualshock 3 at night. If you don't play your PS3 that much and don't mind the vibration function then I would recommend this controller, although i think it's only an extra £5 for a Dualshock 3. 4.5/10 ...
