Clunky interface and Sync issues with Lotus Notes

I've been using this product for over a year now and have not been overly impressed. It's not a bad product, it just doesn't meet my expectations.

The first thing I noticed is the clunky interface. I find the profile setup/configuration screen confusing and complicated. It uses a ton of tabs and checkbox listboxes. It also breaks out the options for each type of item ...
...preference would be a drill down style, where you select the type of data that you want to sync, and then drill down into the options for that item.

I've been using this product for over a year now and have not been overly impressed. It's not a bad product, it just doesn't meet my expectations.

The first thing I noticed is the clunky interface. I find the profile setup/configuration screen confusing and complicated. It uses a ton of tabs and checkbox listboxes. It also breaks out the options for each type of item that is being synchronized into a separate tab. My preference would be a drill down style, where you select the type of data that you want to sync, and then drill down into the options for that item.

In addition to the clunky interface I am frustrated that any time I change one of the sync rules, it forces me to do a complete sync between the PDA and the PC. This irritates me because I also sync my PDA with my personal computer. By forcing me to do a full sync with one computer it ends up creating duplicates on the other!!! With over 300 contacts and many appointments, this is a huge headache to figure out which duplicate should be deleted.

I have also had issue with keeping the software running. It will run fine for a period of about 2 hours and then crash, giving some C++ exception. Not that big of a deal because it restarts just fine, but it is annoying.

Finally I have had issues using it to sync data between my Pocket PC and Lotus Notes 6.5. It seems to work okay with the majority of noted documents, but it really struggles with calendar items (which is what I really wanted it for). Specifically it has issues with recurring appointments, appointments scheduled for other timezones, and appointments where the chair is not in my address book.

All-in-all it just doesn't do what I need it to. I am now looking for a new application to sync my calendar and contacts to my PDA, and my personal PC.
