A mostly unsuccessful port of the Civilisation series from the PC
Advantages: Easier for younger players, quicker games. Disadvantages: Dumb-downed controls, small world sizes, tedious gameplay, limited units.
Sid Meier’s Civilisation series has attracted a huge fan base over the years. The PC games have long been established chart toppers and so it was only a matter of time before a console version of Civilisation was developed. And so here we have it, Civilisation: Revolution and boy is it a disappointment. In order to make it playable using console controls, the developers removed a great deal of the complexity of the PC games such as units and a vast ... ...quicker and more compact game it didn’t, and instead left a ghost of the original series that lacked depth and made playing the console version majorly unrewarding and unsatisfying. The clunky controls regarding movement and selection make the game sometimes completely irritating to play, significantly detracting from the enjoyment of the game. However, there are some aspects of the game that do impress. One of the most annoying things about the ...

A colossal waste
Advantages: Occupying, Can play multiplayer, achievement Disadvantages: Poor graphics, angles, not stimulating enough, no energy, too taxing
One Word: Screwed. I myself am not a fan of such strategy games but under egging by some of my sicko friends I decided to get this. I nearly regretted it. The graphics are good but not outstanding, it is strategic yes, but difficult and some of the sequences and movie angles really grate on one's nerves. Quite a waste of money. I could find a grandma who could do rock music wif tt kind of cash. Anyways, I did find something good though. It was pretty ...

Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3
Advantages: Looks Good, Sounds Good, Fun for a while Disadvantages: Gets boring very quickly, No depth at all
...Middle Earth and Westwoods own Command & Conquer 3. While these games were praised for their creative control schemes and ease of use, they both lacked something, something you only get from playing with a keyboard and mouse. So does Red Alert deliver where all other strategy games seem to fail? The first thing I would like to mention before jumping into the control scheme and interface are the visuals. Red Alert 3 looks good. The colours are vibrant ... ...only build close to they're Command Center. The Empire were my favourite though, while a lot of the old units from previous games are featured in the game in the other two factions, the Empire has a whole new batch of units that we've never seen before, and they're some of the coolest in the game. For example, they have a subermine that can jump out of the water and transform into a fighter for air combat. How cool is that? Not only is it cool, it ...

Best Xbox 360 ever (VERY REALISTIC)
Advantages: very realistic, true. Disadvantages: training missions are boring, cut scenes are really long and u cant skip them
I am totally hooked on this game. you start off as a captain with a small boat in pearl harbour then move on to bigger more powerful ships; like carrier and destoyers, and you can control more of them. You then pilot planes and submarines destroying other japanese ships and other planes. there is much to do in the campaign as you have to control the damage of the ship; for example if you have a fire you have to tell your men to fix that part of the ... ...are a carrier and that makes it difficult becasue the carrier has a slow speed and is prone to torpedoes and dive-bombers. there are many other areas of the game to complete like side missions, there are 3 other side missons you can do, submarine missions, boat missions, and plane missions. ...
