However there seem to be a few bugs that require ironing out here even now 2 years after the console was released in the UK. Regular updates are ironing out most of the problems and updating now only takes seconds which is a lot faster than before. It's just so annoying when for whatever reason you can't get into a ranked online match of Call of Duty 3 because something has gone haywire. ...

Advantages: Superb Gfx, Excellent Live Integration, Looks great Disadvantages: Slightly noisy, Lack of storage space
...however was excellent. I think Microsoft took a leave out of Apple's book. It was packaged and designed I think anyway, with white and visually beautiful aesthetics and packaging. It looks a very professional package, which should be the case given the cost of this unit.
The Package
The box comes with:
-Console
-Mini remote
-HUGE power adapter
-Live headset
-Wireless controller
-Manuals
-AV component cables
I should add that ... ...audible. Setup

Microsoft recommends that the unit and the power adapter be placed in a well ventilated area. I would heed this warning. The Xbox 360 gets hot, very hot! ALSO, I believe Microsoft made a large design flaw. The console looks best standing up, that is clear. However the main air intake is through some grated mesh (very much like the apple G5 metal) on the bottom of the console. If the console is lying flat then this intake is ...

God In A Box Review ofMicrosoft Xbox 360by

Advantages: Can almost take over from your PC Disadvantages: power brick, noise
...much what the steve's at Microsoft have done is shrunk an extremely high end PC into a box that can fit neatly into any existing set up. Each piece of hardware just about is custom made for the Xbox which is where it differs from the Playstation 3 but that's another story. It is essentially a customised IBM Power PC which boasts an unbelievable 3 x 3.2GHz all three offering 2 hard ware threads, which to compare for you, my PC has just one 2.4GHz ... ...heating problem but I think Microsoft would've been smart enough to check that out for us. A couple of reasons they've been able to shrink the size of the 360 down so much (its actually smaller than the original Xbox) is because of two main things, the huge power brick you get with it and the detachable lap top hard drive they've went for, and as luck would have it, they can now charge you a hard drive, but its also a nice design feature, you can ...

Hmmm you might be reading this review if you can't decide between the Xbox 360, and the PS3. Well then you're reading the right review since I had to make the same decision.
The Xbox 360, with its recent price cut is great value for money. Much lower than the PS3- here are the lowest prices I found on the COMET website for each console
-Xbox 360- £159.99
-PS3- £299.99
-Wii- £189.00
Here we see that the Xbox 360 is the lowest priced however this ... ...getting since it has a low memory and you will most likely end up getting the 20GB hard drive- the premium Xbox 360 is only £199.99 which is still a good price. In a standard premium Xbox 360 box you will find:
- A Xbox 360- looks much better than the original one- nice finish
- A wireless controller- not found in arcade version which is annoying since there are wires grrrrrr
- A headset- great for chatting to friends and for Xbox live- not included ...

...games are more sophisticated now Microsoft still recognise we still go for the high score and proved this with the success of the gamer card, so you will need to setup your Xbox Live, Now you have 2 options, Live silver or gold, silver is free and allows access to your gamer score, some downloads and a few other online features, Gold is 34.99 a year and allows full access to everything online including multiplayer gaming in my opinion it's well worth ... ...for a small cost using Microsoft points (purchased online or a retail stores) and you can store these on your hard disk all arcade games allow you try before you buy. You can buy a variety of things through live like new game content, movies, music documentaries etc. I would suggest getting gold and trying the full experience it's a one off charge each year and if you don't use it well you don't have to buy it again. Live is one of the best things ...
