The microsoft xbox 360 is in my opinion the best games console out there, ultimately enhanced by the superb online gameplay capabilities and magnificient graphics which it has.
It is incredibly easy to use (even my dad can use it) and it is easy to transfer date from a computer to it also.
There is a huge variety of games that can be played on it and the games that can only be played on the xbox 360 (gears of war, halo 3) are better than the games that can only be played on Sony Playstation 3 (Little Big Planet).
Even though the online gameplay costs, (£5 a month if paying monthly) it makes up for it with seriously awesome gameplay compared to PS3 live which is free however not as good.
Another factor that I like about the Xbox 360 is that you can earn achievements when you complete certain missions or find something during the game as opposed to the trophies that you get on the Playstation 3 and nothing that you get on the nintendo wii.
The controllers are also a lot better than the PS3 controllers as they fit your hands more naturally.

(+) Plenty of storage space, for media. Good Games, Great for partys, with singstar. Very Reliable. (-) Sometimes the optical drive, breaks; but not very likely, my 60gb still working after 2 1/2 years.
