Here's my second review on this site. This review of will be much like the one I did for the Sony PS3. I've spent a fair amount of time on both of these systems and I feel like my experiences could benefit others. I'll start with the pros.
Receives DLC (Downloadable Content) Before PS3 - My Personal Favorite
Xbox MarketPlaces Offers Enourmous Amounts Of Content - From Demos, To Add-Ons, To Full Games
Perks Such As Netflix, Youtube, Hulu Plus And Others That Have Been Added Within The Past 6 Months - Although Netflix And Hulu Plus Can't Be Used Unless You Have A Subsciption Or Are Willing To Pay For One
Large Amount Of Online Players
Kinect - No Control Needed
Party, Private, and Game Chat - Although Party Chat May Be Limited By The Game You Are Playing
Everday I See More And More People Getting Banned For Modding - This May Sound Bad , But It's Actually Good By The Means Of Microsoft Is Banning These Players For Tampering With Their Profile, Gamerscore, Prestige Or Game Play - Avoid And File Complaints On Any Players You See Modding; It Keeps The Games Fun
Plays Games From The Original Xbox
XBL (Xbox Live) Gold Has To Be Paid For Unlike PS3's PSN
The Fans In Some Of The Older Models (Xbox 360 Arcade And Pro) Are Way Too Loud
Ruins Discs As Soon As There's A Problem With The Laser Or Disc Tray - I've Had Rings Burned Into Some Of My Games; Luckily Microsoft Replaced These When I Sent My Xbox In To Have The Disc Tray Fixed
Replacing Parts That Become Damaged Is Expenisive - My Problem Was Replacing My Power Brick
Red Ring Of Death Or Over Heating - Mine Was Due To My Power Brick Being Too Many Watts (Although It's The One I Received When I Bought My Xbox)
The Biggest Con Of All Is There Is Not A Web Browsing Ability Like On PS3 - However It's Being Moved Towards Since The Youtube And Bing Search Update
These are just from my experiences and I hope they're helpful. Although there are a lot of cons associated with this system I think it's worth it.
