Smash that B** BOX!!!! Advantages: Good little platform game, addictive and challenging Disadvantages:** Can become tiresome and difficult to complete For those who are unaware, Crash Bandicoot is a long running title that began on the playstation. Now in yet another incarnation, it has been ported onto the XBox - and quite well actually. CONTROLS: The draw of this game is the fact that you can pick it up and play in seconds. There are no fast button combinations to master and you can basically run through the early levels to pass them without any difficulty. Smart gamers will soon wisen up and ... ...You use the left analogue stick to move, with the buttons use to jump and 'flatten' things should you wish. You can also attack things while standing up, although they have to be close. Good for breaking boxes and such like, harder to defeat enemies as the timing has to be just right. Other than that, it's pretty simple really. THE GAMEPLAY: The game is based on a simple idea, which is what makes it so addictive. STAR WARS LEGO: fun fun fun Advantages: Fun, ejoyable, must for any starwars fan Disadvantages: slightly basic, not for star wars fans Lego Star Wars..... Hmmmmm at first glance this sounds like one of two things. Its either a pre-school game for your younger brother/sister to help them read or the importance of sharing. Or its just another blatent cash in by Mr Lucas to make himself even more richer. I have to say luckily it is neither of the both and is a cracking little title. I think the best way to describe the game is pure and simply as FUN. Lucas arts have managed to take ... ...into the game. You will soon be thinking yourself "I only need one more peice of my jedi starfighter" and "wow look at the plastic wookie". OK so lets get down to some of the more nitty gritty details. The graphics are all clean, crisp and create an entire star wars universe in plastic with amazing authentisity. Prince of Persia: Sands of Time (Xbox) Advantages: Action Graphics Sound Disadvantages: Non ...scheme and acrobatic maneuvers the Prince can perform. From running up walls, to running along them, the Prince's acrobatic arsenal is simply amazing, and wonderfully animated. The Prince's maneuvers blend wonderfully with puzzles found throughout the game, while some are of the standard variety, many just pose the question of "how will you get to point B with the assortment of moves you have?" Timing and precision jumping then become your weapons ... ...of Prince of Persia. The acrobatic moves are the most important aspect to the game, even above your ability to bend and control time. Brilliant game for multiplayer Advantages: 4-player co-operative missions Disadvantages: Doesn't take very long to complete! ...3 or more people and shrek 2 does it beautifully. There are many characters in the game and it's easy to find a favourite and be them whenever they are available for a level. My 3 brothers and i always had our own characters and i was always donkey! Later on when more characters are unlcoked you can be better characters but i'll leave it to you to complete the game to find out! The graphics are very good and the storyline is amazing. Back To Babylon; The Trilogy Concludes Advantages: Retains most of the strengths of the previous games; Dark Prince a neat innovation Disadvantages: Far too linear; maybe a fraction short ...to a conclusion the "modern" Prince of Persia trilogy, which have thusfar more than lived up to their considerable heritage. Which such success behind them, and no plans announced for a fourth game, Ubisoft were under pressure with this release to both continue the quality of the series and tie up the ongoing story neatly. I don't tend to obsess too much about release dates for this sort of thing, but in this case, I found myself eagerly awaiting ... ...sunk.
