Xerox 8265 eco-solvent large format printer

Advantages: Good service & support, great print quality
Disadvantages: Too many mechanical problems - not reliable

We are a studio based in Montreal, Canada. This is the 1 place I found where I can post a review on this printer. As rated, this product has poorly designed and hence I would never recommend a xerox large format printer after having been acquainted with 2 of them. Professionals are much better off with HP that are superior and quite more reliable. Here are the flaws I have to point out: - Mechanics that renders the daily use annoying: rear load of media requires a lot more working area - type of rear load not precise since printing a 10 foot ot more banner can get skewed at the end if media is not loaded completely straght into printer. Hence a non print margin of .5 inches can narrow down to nothing from start to end of print - "on" & "off" button is ridiculously positioned next to other function buttons on main interface ...

My exellent white asus Seashell 1008Ha bought from simplyasus.com

Advantages: Light, slim, good battry life, 250HDD
Disadvantages: As it is Basic Windows 7, some features missing.

To start with I will say that I was very cautious about ordering from simplyasus.com (they were the cheapest). There was a number (I found nine) of other websites which all seem to be part of Xenex. On the internet I could not find any reviews except one or two posts, one from someone who wanted to buy something and the other one from someone who just simply said that he bought something from them. I phoned simplyasus.com to see that they exist but I bought my Asus 1008HA online. I received almost immediately a text message to confirm my order. There was other e-mails of progress of my order and online tracking. Item arrived 24 hours after placing the order. I am very pleased with the service and would definitely buy from xenex again. Now about my 1008HA. Absolutely beautiful, thin, curvy, smooth shiny finish, very light. Battery ...

Valiant Prints of Xerox

Advantages: Compact, Economical, Simple to set up and use
Disadvantages: Around £30 to replace all the ink.

My Xerox Docuprint XJ6C was acquired a few months ago. Previously it had been plugged into my girlfriends PC but had been rarely used so we decided it’d be better used connected up to my machine. I am unsure if this model of Docuprint is still available to buy, I suspect not as this printer is 2 years old now, and was bundled free with a PC offer. For more Information visit www.xerox.co.uk which is an excellent resource, especially for the latest drivers. The printer was simple to set up on my computer and involved plugging the standard printer cable from printer to PC, and power lead. We couldn’t locate the original disk with the driver on, but as I now have Windows Me I thought it would be best to get the latest driver from Xerox. The latest driver was installed without problem and ran straight from an EXE file ...
