Advantages: Good service & support, great print quality Disadvantages: Too many mechanical problems - not reliable
We are a studio based in Montreal, Canada. This is the 1 place I found where I can post a review on this printer.
As rated, this product has poorly designed and hence I would never recommend a xerox large format printer after having been acquainted with 2 of them. Professionals are much better off with HP that are superior and quite more reliable.
Here are the flaws I have to point out:
- Mechanics that renders the daily use annoying: rear load of media requires a lot more working area
- type of rear load not precise since printing a 10 foot ot more banner can get skewed at the end if media is not loaded completely straght into printer. Hence a non print margin of .5 inches can narrow down to nothing from start to end of print
- "on" & "off" button is ridiculously positioned next to other function buttons on main interface ...

Advantages: Compact, Economical, Simple to set up and use Disadvantages: Around £30 to replace all the ink.
My Xerox Docuprint XJ6C was acquired a few months ago. Previously it had been plugged into my girlfriends PC but had been rarely used so we decided it’d be better used connected up to my machine.

For more Information visit www.xerox.co.uk which is an excellent resource, especially for the latest drivers.
The printer was simple to set up on my computer and involved plugging the standard printer cable from printer to PC, and power lead. We couldn’t locate the original disk with the driver on, but as I now have Windows Me I thought it would be best to get the latest driver from Xerox. The latest driver was installed without problem and ran straight from an EXE file ...

Manufacturer's product description
The WorkCentre 7346 is the A3 color multifunction printer (MFP) that speeds through a range of documents, from everyday business reports like Excel spreadsheets, to graphic-rich color presentations and brochures. The system features print speeds of up to 40 pages per minute (ppm) in color and 45 ppm in black and white, a fast 667MHz processor, 1.5 GB of memory, and a 40 GB hard drive. While documents with complex images traditionally slow down print jobs the Electronics For Imaging (EFI) Fiery print server for the WorkCentre 7300 series intelligently speeds up the process. As a result, the WorkCentre 7346 and print server combination are suited for offices that need to print a variety of files, such as those produced by marketing and publishing groups. In addition, the EFI Fiery print server provides easy-to-use color management controls for ensuring color accuracy. The WorkCentre 7346 is designed to cut down the print queue so that employees can send a file to the printer, grab it and go. No wait time means more work gets done. The WorkCentre 7346 is also equipped with tools such as Auditron and Xerox Standard Accounting, which regulate and track color usage, giving users the ability to manage costs by choosing when, where and how much color they need.
