Fargo PrinterCleaningKit
The Fargo printercleaningkit is designed for Fargo printers. Fargo printers are printers that are designed to print on plastic cards, using a ribbon. In most of these printers it is nearly impossible to get into the inner workings to clean manually, and by design they get dust inside which makes for poor quality prints and eventually, jamming of the cards.
It is important therefore to periodically clean your printer using a Fargo cleaningkit. The whole procedure will take you less than ten minutes and will have your printer back to life again as good as new in no time at all.

- Xerox sells a 220cc & 440cc ink cartridge. While the 220cc fits nicely benind an enclosed space, the 44cc ink cartrige sticks out by 10" outside the casing, and is not protected by a closed door, One can accidentaly knock against the cartridges that really protrude from the machine and thus damage the inside connection. Buying 2 times 220 cc cost more that 1 440 cc!!
- Troublesome front roll windup as printed media comes out. A counter weight system that activates sensor to wind up paper has to be locked and unlocked everytime it is used compared to simply switching on and off a winding mechanism as with other large format printers.
- Daily & weekly maintenance required access to constrained spaces with cleaningkit supplied by Xerox. Not practical when looking ...

I have used this product for a good number of years and have always been pleased with the results!!! The kit comes with everything you need, a wheel brush, a small pot for using the solution, and the bottle of the solution. Every time i have used it i have been pleased with the results.
The brush is small enough to get round all the detail of the wheels, and hold enough of the solution to get the wheels nice and clean. It could be a touch stiffer to help loosen the really stuck on dirt, however it does the job well. The brush also outlasts the kit and can find lots of uses elsewhere.
I normally use the solution 50/50 with water so it therefore lasts longer and still manages to get the dirt off!! im sure that really dirty wheels would need the solution to be used straight from the bottle.
I have never had any problems ...
