...Well just under 2 years ago I upgraded my PC and decided I needed a decent printer to go with it.I ended up in PC World and bought the Xerox Workcentre M940.After shopping around and listening to others the old problem of the colour cart being thrown away because one of the three colours had run out,well I didnt want to waste the remaining ink in the other 2 so I thought hard about it.I also didn`t have a scanner so this printer was a scanner,copier,fax,printer all in one.A the time it cost me £149 and all the coloured inks are in seperate carts!Black costs £16.99 and the three colours cost £11.99 each.

Advantages: Good quality for a cheaper printer, fairly compact, combined printer & scan, quick Disadvantages: none, except got to buy the cable to hook it up to your PC seperately.
...Ever since the late 1980's when I got my first computer (a cousin's cast off Sinclair ZX Spectrum after he switched to AMIGA instead), I always wanted a printer when looking at the accessories advertised in the back of "Your Sinclair" magazine.
I finally got one around September / October / November 2000, a year after I bought my first ever PC & Monitor. It was a Xerox Docuprint C8, I think an end of line product CURRYS in Scarborough were flogging off for £50.
This printer lasted me right through until Friday 16th February 2007, when I was about to print off a letter to my Prison Penpal in California before lunch. I hit the print button in MS WordPad, and sweet-F/A happened. The low ink warning light had quit flashing, and the printer didn't try to "prime the printhead" as I believe the manufacturer's instruction refer to it when...

Advantages: Quick, and Multi functions 3-in-1 Disadvantages: the paper seems to get jammed a lot.

I got the print cartridge from Argos it cost £17.99 I thought this was expensive as the color was only 10 pounds more and you only got 450 copies. I mainly use this for business use for letters to customers and documents.
I got the following information off the hp website to tell you a little more about the product. Shelf like is 18 months – dimensions (wxdxh) 140 x 112 x 35 mm – weight 51 – 53g operating temperature range 0 to 40”c.
