...We are a studio based in Montreal, Canada. This is the 1 place I found where I can post a review on this printer.
As rated, this product has poorly designed and hence I would never recommend a xerox large format printer after having been acquainted with 2 of them. Professionals are much better off with HP that are superior and quite more reliable.
Here are the flaws I have to point out:
- Mechanics that renders the daily use annoying: rear load of media requires a lot more working area
- type of rear load not precise since printing a 10 foot ot more banner can get skewed at the end if media is not loaded completely straght into printer. Hence a non print margin of .5 inches can narrow down to nothing from start to end of print
- "on" & "off" button is ridiculously positioned next to other function buttons on main interface...

...When I read about this wonderful machine, I knew I had to have one. I own a scanner but it's quite loud so I decided to splurge and get the Canon C20 Multipass. Also, my Fax option/program on my Compaq lemon has never worked so I knew this Multipass would solve all my problems. ~~~~~
I have been using the same Hewlett Packard printer for almost four years and, though it still prints well, the HP printer uses a lot of very expensive ink. The cartridges are $30.00 US and they aren't that big anymore and I go through one every two months. So I decided to shop around for an all-in-one machine. ~~~~~
When I read about the Canon C20 Multipass, I knew that I wanted it. It has a sleek design and looks great. The function buttons are clearly marked and simple to understand and operate. They have a great manual design as well that...

Advantages: Compact, Economical, Simple to set up and use Disadvantages: Around £30 to replace all the ink.
...My Xerox Docuprint XJ6C was acquired a few months ago. Previously it had been plugged into my girlfriends PC but had been rarely used so we decided it’d be better used connected up to my machine.
I am unsure if this model of Docuprint is still available to buy, I suspect not as this printer is 2 years old now, and was bundled free with a PC offer.
For more Information visit www.xerox.co.uk which is an excellent resource, especially for the latest drivers.
The printer was simple to set up on my computer and involved plugging the standard printer cable from printer to PC, and power lead. We couldn’t locate the original disk with the driver on, but as I now have Windows Me I thought it would be best to get the latest driver from Xerox. The latest driver was installed without problem and ran straight from an EXE file...
