It is not suitable as a home printer, but would be good for a home office or small business. Saying that , it does produce very good pictures when using mid range photo papers designed for colour laser printers. Anyone printing a lot of colour pictures it could pay for itself very quickly compared to using colour ink jets.

The network facility works well with my 6 computers on the network and seems to accept documents from one computer running SuSe Linux The toners can be expensive , but firms like Toner Giant offer very good compatibles. The downside is the size, it has a large footprint and is very tall, and can only take 250 sheets in the standard tray, and I am loathed to buy an expensive second tray.

Annoying things, as it is so big I have it on the floor, opening the paper tray is not so easy as it brushes against the carpet. it this could be raised by a couple of centimetres, life would be so much easier.
