It is not suitable as a home printer, but would be good for a home office or small business. Saying that , it does produce very good pictures when using mid range photo papers designed for colour laser printers. Anyone printing a lot of colour pictures it could pay for itself very quickly compared to using colour ink jets.

It is very economical. it prints all types of paper formats and is very fast. The network facility works well with my 6 computers on the network and seems to accept documents from one computer running SuSe Linux The toners can be expensive , but firms like Toner Giant offer very good compatibles. The downside is the size, it has a large footprint and is very tall, and can only take 250 sheets in the standard tray, and I am loathed to buy an expensive second tray.

Annoying things, as it is so big I have it on the floor, opening the paper tray is not so easy as it brushes against the carpet. it this could be raised by a couple of centimetres, life would be so much easier.
