Manufacturer's product description

Get two for one with the WorkCentre XE80 from Xerox. It doubles as both a digital copier and a laser printer, a benefit for small offices that need both but can afford only one. The XE80 makes up to 100 monochrome copies at 6 copies per minute. Reduce or enlarge the original using one of five presets, or pick your own level in 1% increments from 50% to 200%. Automatic exposure adjusts for light, dark and colored backgrounds for readable copies each time. The Photo mode makes clear copies of black and white or color photographs to retain fine details and shading. For file copies or draft documents, the Toner Saver mode yields presentable copies while saving toner. The XE80 also works as a monochrome laser printer, yielding up to 8 prints per minute at 600 x 600 dpi resolution. This monochrome laser digital copier/printer is also good for home or school use, with a 1000 copy/month rating and the ability to copy on paper, transparencies, labels and envelopes. A front-loading paper tray holds up to 250 sheets, letter or legal size.

Xerox M750 built like a tank
Review of Xerox DocuPrint M750 by  PeterFarrell

Advantages: Cheap running costs, separate ink tanks, fairly fast.
Disadvantages: A cheap and easily broken paper out tray, some small errors from time to time.

...and considering that I do a lot of black and white printing for college work and things from the internet, it appear to last well. I have only recently changed the colour cartridges, again they have had a lot of use but seem to have lasted well. Xerox claim to have developed an intelligent system called ‘InkLogic’ which manages the colour and ink, trying it’s best to save ink where possible. The printer cost me £39.97 including VAT. Which I consider to be a very cheap printer, especially as postage and packaging was free for such a bulky item, due to the fact I had ordered online. It arrived promptly, in a large, I mean huge box, which protected the printer well. I must say, that on first impressions the printer seemed much larger than I had imagined, despite checking the dimensions against my old Deskjet before purchasing it. I unwrapped all... Read review

Xerox no good for small businesses
Review of Xerox Phaser 6100BD by  MikeCarlson

Advantages: Color
Disadvantages: Inadequate support

...I purchased a Xerox color laser based on their reputation. I learned an expensive lesson. The printer never worked correctly. I takes forever to send a print job over 10 Mb ethernet connection. Once the print was readied in the printer memory, it was likely that the printer would jam. You have to reset the printer and start over. Printer engine faults were SOP. I was able to get a single service call from Xerox personnel. Their position was that "The power is "dirty." I placed the printer on a dedicated line with multiple filters and a power backup. The printer faults and paper jams continued. The new Xerox position: "The printer needs cleaning." Multiple cleanings, faults, and jams later I still received no support from Xeorx. $3000+ and three years later Xerox has not changed their position. No support from xerox and I... Read review

My First Xerox.
Review of Xerox DocuPrint M760 by  Michael151256

Advantages: Separate colour reservoirs, good instructions
Disadvantages: No cables

...The Xerox m760 came with my new pc and I expected it to be tacky, cheap, and cheerful but basically not very good. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it is an excellent piece of printing machinery. Easy to setup and install, easy to use. As usual there were no cables, these have to be bought separately, but the machine can be connected to either a printer port on your pc or by USB. Drivers were already available through Windows XP so I didn't need the drivers disk supplied with the machine. This might not be the case with earlier versions of Windows so just follow the on screen instructions. This also applies to installing print cartridges. The cd contains on screen instructions which are very easy to follow, simple and clear. A child could do it. The instruction book is easy to follow and well laid out, exactly what you would...
