Advantages: Cheap, Performs well, Reliable, Noise Resistant, V92 Ready Disadvantages: No visible lights or on-screen indication
Whilst browsing the shelves of my local Dixon's store, I found a Modular Technology V92 Ready Internal PCI modem. The price was just £24.99 so I thought it worth a try. The modem fits in an empty pci slot and is based on the lucent chipset (www.lucent.com). The card went in easily and the software installed fine on my Windows ME machine. But, we couldn't afford anymore at the time, we had got into financial struggle, our car started costing us £320 a month whereas it had only been £90 previously, and so our incoming was dwindling.
In the end, we had to set up a payment plan with a company Express Debt Solutions, these take on your ...
