I was amazed when i got this player just by the number of formats that it supports especially for the price; although it was a risk going for a brand that I had never heard of I really wasn't disappointed by the product. Great sound and good picture quality and the menu system is easy to navigate. The firmware is upgradable although as of yet I have not tried this. Ok so there's only one scart socket, i would have liked another but it does have s-video out and triple din plug output aswell as a coaxial plug so it is very versatile in that repect. The remote control is easy to use and has many features including zoom, pan and aspect ratio controls. The choice of ntsc or pal is great for anyone who buys region 0 dvds in NTSC, but you can't play other region dvds only dvds for the region it is made and region 0 which is global. It's not the most stylish looking machine ever put together, it is a bit boxy but it's slim and discrete and will probably knock those flashy looking machines out on performance. For those looking for a versatile machine on a budget you could do a lot worse.
