After buying a 200 pounds Yamaha natural sound 5.1 Av Reciever and 100 pounds on speakers and some more money on cables I was left with very little left and decided to buy a cheap DVD player to act as a stand in CD/DVD player until I had a few hundred saved up. The Yakumo was the obvious choice since i had some region one DVDs. When it arrived I wasn?t expecting much for 35 quid but I was amazed when I opened the package. You can tell a quality of a DVD player by the build quality and looks well this has both. Still it?s about visual and video quality isn?t it. So I stuck in first contact for 5.1 Dolby digital from the coax to the AV and the sound and picture quality is up with a player three times the price, the picture is sharp and the sound is amazing. Advantages: Small, compact,lots of features

I saw this advertised for just under £35.00 with free post & packing and read the reviews, and couldn't believe that you could get a multi-region dvd player for this price that would be quality. How wrong could I be? I thought I would buy it anyway, and I'm glad I did because I am so impressed with it, it is much better than our Sony dvdplayer, and fits in a much smaller space in our clogged bedroom, because it is so compact. I hadn't heard of the make before, but I would buy this make in any other products if this came up, because the technology and the price go well! (cheap sometimes does pay!) My husband recently borrowed a copied dvd from a work colleague and it kept stopping and going back to the beginning on our Sony player, however on this Yakumo player it didn't have any problems, so really impressive! DVD Player... or... Night On The Tiles?

In order to satisfy my technological needs and not having had a product to review in this genre for nearly 6 months now I thought I had better purchase something?well that?s one of the excuses anyway. With an impending move ahead of me back to my hometown Norwich from Leeds, I decided to leave my old single region DVD player, despite its smart style, with my girlfriend who didn?t own one. Scouring the Internet revealed a possible successor: the Yakumo DVD Master XL2. Amazon seemed to stock these little beauties at £35?. yes that?s right £35!!! Now I had Amazon vouchers to the value of £20 and was almost stupefied that I could get this delivered for a sum total of £15 with Amazon?s Supersaver delivery? not bad but there had to be a catch, didn?t there?
