The DVD Master XL2 is Yokumo’s first plunge into the world of DVD Players and have started with a red hot deal. The XL2 is a stylish looking player packed with features with an astonishing low price. Playing all formats i.e. DVD (-R, +R, -RW, +RW), VCD, SVCD, CD-audio, Kodak Picture CD, JPG-CD, MP3, CD, CD-R and CD-RW media shows the excellent value and first class product you are getting for such an outstanding price.
With all the required connections (coaxial digital out, stereo-analogue, Dolby digital (AC-3), DTS digital out, SCART out, composite video out, coaxial digital out and s-video) this player can be hooked up to anything.
With extra features like picture-by-picture slow motion, programmable playback sequence or random play, zoom, manual title-search, parental lock as well as subtitles and multiple view angles go to make the DVD Master XL2 more than just a run-of-the-mill DVD player.
Included in the box is a stylish remote control (batteries are included), multi-language instruction manual and cables for the A/V, S-video and SCART connections.
The player’s dimensions are slim at 48x430x320 mm (h/w/d) and a lightweight 3.5 kg.
One problem I found is that if you own a LG wide screen television this player is probably not for you. There must be a similar frequency between the LG television remote and the DVD remote. This can be seen when using the DVD remote and the television channels & settings change. I have tried it on other television sets and so far have only had problems with the LG.
Other than that this is an excellent DVD player. The ease of use is what is to be expected and could be used by a monkey. Very stylish and looks great, build quality seems very good too.
As with all new products it has to be tested so I sat myself down with The Matrix and Lord of the Rings. It didn’t disappoint. Excellent picture quality & brilliant sound. If you are looking for a cheap DVD player this is the one for you, actually if you are looking for any DVD player this one is perfect. So take your change and spend your hard earned cash on something else…

Haven't heard of this make before. I have had a similar problem to you concerning interference of signals from a remote - my hifi remote was controlling the tv.
