I was bought this dvd player as a present to replace my playstation2( i had a few problems with playing dvds).
I found it to be a great dvd player and a vast improvement on my playstation2!
It is a nice design being 'skinny' and just the right size to fit ontop of my denom amp! I like the lcd screen (looks silver untill turned on).
The dvd player is of good quality and can play multi region dvds(my main problem with last one).

it can also play copied dvds and cds(not exactly sure which versions/ones, has playe the ones ive tried, i think cdr rw etc)
The instructions say it can work with a nstc tv, but I found that mine wouldnt (dont know if its mine or tall of them).
The features are as you would expect with a higher priced dvd player , zoom in and out?? (not sure why you would want this), slow mo(4 different speeds), 4 different speeds of fast forward and rewind , play stop, pause, go to chapter, audio options(you can change via the remote, directors comentry,2:1 english, 2:1foriegn, 5:1english etc depending on the dvd), 5:1 output, plays kodak picture cds(havent checked this as i dont know what this is) i think it plays jpeg files(from cdr) but am not sure about this(check the description for more details).
I am not exactly sure if it plays 5:1(it says it is) as I have not connected it to my 5:1 system to check(my brother has it at the moment!)
The remote works well from a distance(round corners etc) but wont skip chapters if the dvd isnt playing (annoying if like me, you use it as cd player).
It has options for wide screen and a few for the outputs(not sure what this means, but i had to change the settings to get the best sound out of it).Overall a very good buy, sounds great with my amp and plays dvds, what more could you ask for!

Sorry about the SH rating. Is this Dvd player MULTI REGIONAL? you didnt give alot of information on what features it has got. If you re-write i will be happy to re-rate. Contact me when you do. Dom :-)
