I have owned the delta 300 GPS, for approx. 3 years now, and it has never left my side. With the right software the sat nav works well,(software not included). I find that it is a lot more practical than some of the more specialised sat nav's that are a available.
The screen is clear. The controls are easy to use, and re-program. Extra software is readily available from the internet, and very easy to install.
The main problem with the Delta 300 GPS, is the shortage of inbuilt memory, and no WiFi capability, so I have installed a 4gb SD card, and purchase a SD WiFi card, this has resolved the and work well with the unit. The only other problem is that the battery does'nt last as long as I would like, but they never do. ...

After purchasing a Pocket PC (HP hx4700) mainly for use as a calender assistant and portable web browsing device, I soon discovered that it could also be used as a portable Sat Nav device as well, allowing applications such as Tomtom to be uploaded onto it, and for those who are interested in light aircraft flying, like me, memory map is fantastic aviation GPS program which can be used on using actual CAA aviation maps with GPS data overlay for flight planning and tracking purposes. The one extra hardware add-on which is needed to allow tomtom and memory map to function is a GPS receiver device. I had previously purchased a Compact Flash card extension GPS receiver which plugged into the Pocket PC's existing ports directly, unfortunately, it was very poor at satellite tracking and position locking, taking several minutes to lock-on to ...

After buying a 200 pounds Yamaha natural sound 5.1 Av Reciever and 100 pounds on speakers and some more money on cables I was left with very little left and decided to buy a cheap DVD player to act as a stand in CD/DVD player until I had a few hundred saved up. The Yakumo was the obvious choice since i had some region one DVDs.
When it arrived I wasn?t expecting much for 35 quid but I was amazed when I opened the package. You can tell a quality of a DVD player by the build quality and looks well this has both. Still it?s about visual and video quality isn?t it. So I stuck in first contact for 5.1 Dolby digital from the coax to the AV and the sound and picture quality is up with a player three times the price, the picture is sharp and the sound is amazing. Stuck in a few CDs, Nirvana, Emiliana Torrini and some Godspeed you black ...
