Its an imposing box, though like all of the natural sound range pulls that off with elegance. The sleek lines are very dark hi-fi and blends in nicely anywhere.Its hansome, heavyweight and shakes the foundations. How yamaha achieve such cleaness of sound,musicality and such fabulous signal to noise ratio is said to be down to the sheer precision of thier manufacturing. ...Hi there I am glad to say that I am a proud owner of the Yamaha AX500/u Amplifier. Mine has been in storage nearly all of its life as it was hardly used by my friend so I bought it 6 months ago. And it really looks like it just came from the shop. Probably best condition one I ever seen. Well to get straight to the point. The Yamaha AX 500 is an amplifier that is made for Extreme Clarity and loudness for music; I would not recommend this amplifier for watching films everyday as i say it would be a waste of Amplifier , Although it may still sound clear this amp does not have the features to make your home cinema effect. But I will guarantee that once you heard this mean machine it will be music to your ears in the sweetest way.
