Full review
I bought a Yamaha Clavinova CVP-87A in mint condition just 2 years ago from a well known music supplier, together with stool and original instruction manual and style disk.

This is truly a remarkable piece of instrumental equipment which would cost around £2,000-£3,000 to purchase, had it been a new model. I bought it for £900, but only because it was second hand to begin with, so I really feel as if I'd got myself a bargain.

I have heard that the Yamaha CVP Clavinova digital pianos are the most advanced digital pianos ever designed. A friend of mine who plays a lot better than I do, was really excited when I told him what I'd bought and couldn’t wait to try it out. He said that if you want a digital piano that has as true to life piano sound as a piano, with so many different instrument sounds, a floppy disk drive and percussion rhythm facilities then the Yamaha Clavinova digital piano is the best. In short, if you want a piano but don’t want to go through the expense of retuning it every year, this really is the one to go for. It's the closest instrument there is to a piano without being a piano.

88 keys (full sized keyboard fully weighted keys), AWM tone generator system offers a range of 60 realistic voices. Dual and split play modes, 24 accompaniment styles ranging from rhythm only to fully orchestrated rhythm. Full keyboard ABC (Auto Bass Chord), 24 solo style play variations. 10 track performance memory, internal 3.5 floppy disk drive.

A few things I would say about it negatively is that it does take up a lot of space and is extremely heavy, so make you’ve got in the right place and leave it there, moving it alone is not an option!

A lot of people don’t like to look at lists of details, but if you're the sort of person who likes to look at the spec, this is for you:
