I saw this advertised and then received a demo cd featuring Mark and Lard from Radio 1. This was mainly what persuaded me to buy it, even at £280. Its features are vast, and the sounds that come from it are very impressive, but unfortunately since buying it I've never really had the time to have a decent go with it, and I don't have much keyboard skills so it's a bit of a waste on me. However, a decent backing beat can be set, and to that you can add and take away drum beats, base beats, cymbals etc, and then you can also speed up or slow down, as well as chagning pitch, resonance, 'funk', and other things. On the whole I would say this is an intelligent piece of machinery, and could be used to good effect, possibly as part of a band.
