This is one serious bit of equipment. It's flexibility with connections make long term future proof. The sound and picture quality is awesome. If it is used in a room that can't take 7.1 number of speakers , use the unused 2 channels to bi-amp the front left & right speakers.

Yamaha DSP-Z7, AV powerhouse, awesome picture & sound.
Advantages: Excellent picture / sound. Amp very good upscaler. Future proof built in. Disadvantages: It is heavy. Amp in short supply

It has a multi room capability. It is an excellent upscaler. Five HDMI in, two HDMI's out ( two tv's or tv and projecter ). The amp is built like a tank - solid and ... ...amp under less strain whilst giving better performance. A lot of the top of the range DSP-Z11's design and features have found their way into this amp.
My one moan is that it's in short supply due to it's success and you may have to wait several weeks for delivery - check suppliers stock.

The power supplies are over specified which puts the amp under less strain whilst giving better performance.
