Sound The Yamaha FG750S has full, bright tones that could be likened to those of a Taylor and has plenty of sustain. It is suitable for any style of music, from rock to country. When I was purchasing this guitar I tried out many other guitars within this price range. This one was a cut above the rest. Its tone is amazing. Although it may not have as good a bass response or hot upper end as other guitars, you may be paying twice or even three times as much as this guitar to step up to the next level of quality. Excellent sound quality for a guitar of this price.
Playability The rounded profile of the fret board makes playability very easy. A rounded neck makes it a lot easier to bend the strings on the guitar and to avoid fret buzz. The frets are put in perfectly. This also helps eliminate fret buzz. The nut is 1 11/16 inches wide making it very easy to move from one chord one another. The neck is very comfortable to hold. The Yamaha FG750S is a very easy guitar to play.
