I have never had to change string or change anything on it becuase the ones it comes with are excelent, its got a nice feel and excelent for people who have never played guitar. i learnt my frist songs on that and had no problems, i now have a epiphone les paul standard and that great too. The only problem i found with this guitar is that its slightly big, and so i would not recomend it for children who are under 8 because they will find it hard to get their have over it, but remeber you get that with many guitars.
