I've tried this amp with a variety of speakers from Mission, Castle and Musical Fidelity, with either a Sony sub or Yamaha sub. It's powerful and capable, but is typical of the Yamaha Natural sound style amps in that it doesn't immediately grab you attention with overblown sounds. The upside is that it's very easy to live with, and is good for calming down over bright satalite speakers. It's not got all the latest connectivity, but I think there's a cable available to connect it to most types of TV. It's got a built in radio that's OK and the manual
is reasonably easy to understand. There quite a range of sound settings which are genuinely varied, plenty to play about with! As to it's appearence this is a silver amp that is fairly understated - standard looking. The controls work as expected and the display is reasonably clear and easy to read.
