Advantages: portable, good size and easy to use, cheap Disadvantages: sound isnt that of the best on market
I purchased this keyboard from my friend second hand as I couldnt really aford to buy a new one. She hadnt really used it much except for christmas and the odd time when she wanted to pass time. I paid £190.00 which I think inst all that low a price under the one she paid for it 5 years ago. However I cant complain we've had some good use out of it and has even taught my 5 year old some whole piano songs - his favourite being three blind mice at the moment and, of course, the simpsons theme tune!
What I love most about this Keyboard is that you can ta it ke on the go! Sounds like a toy for children, but was actually developed in 1999 for adults and professional play. This, although a bit chunky, model is ideal for piano practice and easy storage or for recording your own music. Other fearures I find useful include the playback mode ...

Advantages: Lightweight, powerful 200cc two-stroke motor, proven over time Disadvantages: Wheel base and width cause instability in some situations.
The Yamaha Blaster is a legend in its own right. It has been in production for many a year now and has sold in large numbers worldwide. Its success has mainly been down to the large spread of potential buyers that it caters for. I do as a matter of good maintenance, keep the chain and other moving parts oiled and greased, but this level of maintenance is expected on all such machines. I have recently rebuilt the top-end of my blaster engine and was very pleased to see that the condition of most of the internal waer parts was ...

Advantages: A tremendous instrument for the musically minded Disadvantages: -
is like listening to a group of musicians.
At around £1,000 the PSR 3000, is the penultimate in professional keyboards, known also as work-stations, the Tyros being the Yamaha's flagship costing from around £2,000 to just over £3,000. As a trained musician, I find the PSR 3000 more than adequate for my needs, but it can also be a excellent instrument for beginners too, as on the mounted colour TFT screen, the user can select from a variety of songs, have the instrument play them and have the music score play along and watch a "bouncing ball" indicate what notes are being played and even permit the player to play along with it. An excellent way to practice.
To top all this, the instrument can connect to the internet via USB to a broadband modem and download songs and styles (explained below) from the Yamaha website - full ...
