Yamaha Maple Custom Absolute Drumkit

Advantages: Design, fit, finish & sound excellent!
Disadvantages: New lugs take a little getting used to.

...go check out the newest Yamaha kit I could find at my local drum shop and do some comparisons -vs- the Collector Series from DW. Price wise there is no real comparison with the Yamaha Maple Custom Absolute Nouveau kit in the same sizes coming in at about 30% less retail than the DW's. Yamaha definitely wins in this column. i play brit rock pop and dance also together in the mix in my bands music, this drum gave me a rich tone so i dont have to changes with another drum for mix sound, u can tune it in beetwen a litle bit pop a litle bit rock a litle bit dance but still sounds natural thats what i like about this drum
