I played mainly alternative rock, japanese rock, and sometimes metal, and this bass suits me well. P/J pickup combination enabling me to create various kind of tone, even though the quality is not that good ( i would like to replace them with EMGs or Bartolinis ).
The action, fit, and finish ... ...and it has no major flaws. The reliability also dependable, i 've played the instruments for one years and it had no problems at all.
So the final judgment is: this is a great bass for beginner to intermediate player, compared to other bass in the same range price such as Squier , RBX 270 is definitely the best. A really first bass that you couldn't forget.
