When this baby is increased to full volume for movies like pearl harbour you really cant be in the room, it sounds like there is a full blown war in my house, even from the outside. The sound does not get fuzzy as the volume increases the furniture ... ...in the minus 20 section, it is loud when the volume is at zero so you have to decrease it into the minus numbers.
When I purchased this product a professional installed it and gave me a rundown of all its features so it was easy to understand and operate. The instruction manual is there for convenience however you wont be needing it.

I play all my DVD's and music on this thing at parties and even when sitting in and watching a horror on my own. This is the best sound just like the cinema but LOUDER way louder. Your sure to scare your guests if your playing a horror through this big boy. It really is brilliant and i couldnt say a bad thing about it. It really is worth the money it cost.
I really am not joking when i say this peice of equiptment shakes the furniture, my only recommendation for people who buy this is that you get brilliant and durable speakers for surround sound to go with it.

Yamaha products are really good i have several in my living room and this is only a small portion of the full thing.
This DVD player plays DIVX files which is always useful, it plays CD's and DVD's made from your computer (pirate). It is the best quality DVD player i have ever had, mine is liked to my Pioneer 44" plasma television and the picture quality is amazing. I also have the YAMAHARX-V457 sound system hooked up to it aswell and it really does deliver the best way to watch dvd's at home.
My setup is better than going to the cinema the picture and sound quality is simply the best. This is an essential part of my collection, forget about BLU-Ray this is the future! LOUD! & CRYSTAL CLEAR. If you arent interested in blu-ray just yet this is the thing and it has lasted me years with no problems what so ever!
