I bought this bike second hand just about 3 months ago. It is a 1991 model and Still running beautifuly. The speed goes upto 60-65 and this is on a flat road, but the pick up on it is very good and has a decent amount of power for a 125cc engine.
I have drum brakes on mine, they aren't as sharp as hydrolic disc brakes but that's mayb because i go much faster on this than i did on my 50cc Derbi Senda.
The seat is really comfortable and it has 2 types of stands, one side stand and also the one you sometimes see on scooters, the one with two legs. I knew nothing about bikes but i decided to play about with is, opened a few parts and managed to find out how to let out the engine oil, clean out the spark plug, clean the filter etc etc because i knew i can't really break it.
It has some chrome parts so you need to make sure you put a little bit of polish on them every moth or something so you don't get little rusting points which you still remove with the polish easily, as long as there aren't too many.
I go to school and back moday to friday, sometimes for a ride at lunch, and 3 or 4 trips in the week to different places. I fill up after a week 2.50 worth of petrol! or mayb £3 if i ride a lot. thats like £12 a month which is BRILLIANT!!!
