I've owned this for about 2 years now. I bought it so I could have surround sound from my Xbox 360. I bought it for about ~£140 so its on the cheap end of the scale but its not so far that its nasty like Bush or Alba.
Overall I've been very happy with it. Connecting it up was really easy. All the speakers come prewired with a fairly generous amount of cable. You would have difficulty for a really large room though. The other ends of the cables just plug into the back of the small amp unit. It includes a small remote which seems a little flimsy but seems to work fine from a distance.
The amount of connections on the back seem quite generous as well with 2 optical and 1 coax connector. It also supports Dolby Digital, DTS and Dolby Pro Logic II.
Quality of sound is fairly good. Dispite the low wattage and RMS numbers it provides more the enough volume for a small room. I've certainly never had it turned up much past half way.
For normal music its not too bad but its really more suited to movies or games.
If there is one thing which bugs me about the system is the sub whoofer. It's so loud! Which is a good thing most the time but at night it can disturb people. Even with the sub turned all the away down and its 'night mode' feature switched on it still seems noticeable to others in the house.
Other than that though I can't fault it and it seems like a bargain to me at the price.
You might have difficulty finding it now. I would recommend you check on ebay as I've definately seen listings on there now and then.
