Yamaha Virago XV535

The Yamaha Virago,is a good, all-rounder, that is a good-looking bike at a reasonable price.New price usually starts from around £4,300 to £3,600.A good condition,used bike, expect to pay about £2,000. I have been riding bikes for 26years and have experience of many makes and models,the Yamaha 535 Virago coming top, in my opinion.
The Virago has an attractive look to it,that is inviting to all bikers, especially ladies and gents with a short, inside leg.The low styling adds to the balance of the bike, giving its rider the confidence to ride this bike to it's fullest capacity.
It is a very reliable machine,needing very little maintenance and has good fuel economy, although, the fuel tank could do with being a bit larger, which is noticable on long journeys.
On long rides,the seat design and riding position give a very comfortable journey.
The Virago performs equally as good,whether is used on short trips or covering many miles, I have done both.My Virago has been out on the road, almost every day for almost 2 and a half years and has only once needed attention when the diaphragm in the carburettor disintigrated.
In my opinion, the Virago is one of the best bikes on the road, truly a good, all-rounder.
