I purchased my XT600 new in 2002, and I'm afraid that it only comes out of the garage in dry weather. If you are looking for a fast thrill machine then don't buy one of these, if, however you want a very dependable bike for commuting to the office then this is the bike for you. Very easy to handle in the long traffic queues, there is no arm ache due to the upright riding position. Not the fastest bike but there are 600cc's if you need them. Good points include the fuel consumption and reliability, can however be regarded by the sports bikers as an old mans bike.
A low-maintenace machine, but best of all if you feel like being 18 again it pulls superb wheelies in second and third gear!
